Projects
These projects are highlighted in our photo gallery.
IKEA Distribution Center – Tejon Ranch:
The IKEA project was the first of many new concrete tilt-up warehouse buildings some of which have been built and many more are planned for this commercial hub of the Southern San Joaquin Valley. A new community and other commercial establishments are still planned for the future development of the Tejon Ranch properties.
Rabobank Arena:
Built in 1998, this Sports and Entertainment Facility has become the center of entertainment for the Bakersfield community. This project was negotiated with PCL Construction and completed in only three and a half months. Aerial lifts which reached heights of 125 feet were required to complete this project. We designed and built a custom spray box which allowed us to feed the ceiling bar joists through the unit and come out the other end a finished product. All of the joists in the arena ceiling were painted with only 75 gallons of material due to this invention.
Bakersfield Memorial Hospital:
This project was completed in 2008 as an addition to the existing hospital to increase bed capacity and is the largest project that the Bakersfield division has ever completed. We are very proud of the level of quality and craftsmanship that this project displays.
California Corporate Towers:
For many years we worked with the property management company for these buildings to design a system that would repair the failing control joints of the Exterior Insulated Finish System (EIFS). We finally discovered a Dow Corning Silicone Joint Repair Tape System that is applied over the existing deteriorated joints. This provided an integral colored, textured surface that blended with the adjacent EIFS that was very esthetically pleasing and eliminated the need and cost of removing the existing deteriorated sealant. Prior to the installation of the joint repair system, all the exterior surfaces of the buildings were repainted with the use of two swing stage units.
Valley Plaza Mall - Interior Renovation:
This was a complete remodel of the Mall that had not been renovated since it had been built in the 1960’s. Multiple colors within the walls and ceilings were applied to beautify the project. All work was performed at night after the Mall had closed for business. Time was of the essence in this project due to the upcoming holiday season.
